Join us on August 27 for the second session of Summer of Know, a discussion series focused on the intersection of art and current issues, co-curated by For Freedoms. In Summer of Know: Reckoning!, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, cultural protection, and restorative justice are addressed by moderator and Native Rights Specialist Jodi Archambault (Hunkpapa and Oglala Lakota) and the following panelists: writer and curator Suzan Shown Harjo (Cheyenne and Hodulgee Muscogee), artist and educator Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds (Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes), social entrepreneur and organizer Natalie Stites Means (Dakota/Lakota), and artist/curator/publisher America Meredith (Cherokee Nation).
